1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how MishuNeko, an Android application developed by PlouifaSoft, handles information when you use the application.
MishuNeko is a language-learning application that allows users to practice conversations with artificial intelligence services.
We respect your privacy. MishuNeko does not require you to create an account and PlouifaSoft does not operate a server that stores your conversations or API credentials.
2. Information Collected by PlouifaSoft
MishuNeko does not require an account and does not ask you to provide personal information such as your name, postal address, telephone number, or email address in order to use the application.
PlouifaSoft does not operate its own backend server for storing user conversations or API credentials.
However, third-party services integrated into the application, particularly advertising services, may automatically collect or process certain information as described in this Privacy Policy.
3. AI Services and API Keys
MishuNeko allows users to select an AI provider for language conversation practice. Depending on the user's configuration, available providers may include:
- Google Gemini
- Groq
- OpenAI
To use an AI provider, the user may need to enter their own API key into the application.
The API key is stored locally on the user's device and is not uploaded to or stored on any PlouifaSoft server.
The API key is used by the application to authenticate requests directly with the AI provider selected by the user.
PlouifaSoft does not receive, access, or store the API keys entered by users.
4. AI Conversations
When you use the AI conversation functionality, the text you enter may be transmitted from your device directly to the AI provider you have selected.
PlouifaSoft does not operate an intermediary server for these requests and does not receive or store the conversation content.
The processing, storage, retention and use of conversation data by the selected AI provider are governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policies.
Before using an AI provider, you should review the applicable privacy policy and terms of that provider.
5. Third-Party AI Providers
MishuNeko may allow connections to third-party AI services. These services are independently operated by their respective providers.
Google Gemini
Google Gemini services are provided by Google. Information sent to Google through the Gemini API is subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.

Groq
If you choose Groq, requests are sent directly to Groq using the API credentials provided by you.
Groq's processing of information is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

If you choose OpenAI, requests are sent directly to OpenAI using the API credentials provided by you.
OpenAI's processing of information is governed by its own terms and privacy policies.

6. Advertising
MishuNeko displays advertisements using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).
Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and process certain information from the device and the use of the application for purposes such as advertising, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, security, diagnostics and related services.
Depending on the user's device, configuration, location and applicable consent requirements, this information may include items such as:
- IP address
- Device or advertising identifiers
- Information about interactions with the application
- Diagnostic information
- Other information required to provide and measure advertising
Information collected by Google Mobile Ads is handled according to Google's policies and applicable privacy and consent requirements.

7. Advertising Consent
MishuNeko uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage privacy choices and advertising consent where required.
Depending on your location and applicable regulations, the application may display a consent dialog allowing you to make choices regarding the use of information for advertising purposes.

8. Analytics
MishuNeko does not use Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics.
The application does not use an analytics platform operated by PlouifaSoft to track individual users or their behavior.
Advertising-related measurement or diagnostics performed by third-party advertising services, such as Google Mobile Ads, are governed by those services' own policies and are separate from Google Analytics.
9. Data Storage
PlouifaSoft does not maintain a database containing user accounts, conversation histories, or API keys for MishuNeko.
Configuration information required for the application may be stored locally on the user's Android device.
AI conversation requests are sent directly from the user's device to the AI provider selected by the user.
10. Third-Party Services
MishuNeko relies on certain third-party services to provide its functionality. These services operate independently from PlouifaSoft.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) – advertising services and advertising measurement.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) – privacy choices and advertising consent management.
- Google Gemini – optional AI conversation service selected by the user.
- Groq – optional AI conversation service selected by the user.
- OpenAI – optional AI conversation service selected by the user.
Each third-party provider may process information according to its own privacy policy, terms of service and applicable laws.
11. Data Sharing
PlouifaSoft does not sell, rent or otherwise provide user information to third parties for its own purposes.
However, information may be transmitted directly to third-party services when required to provide functionality that you explicitly use.
For example, when you use AI conversation functionality, conversation content is transmitted to the AI provider selected by you.
When advertisements are displayed, Google Mobile Ads may collect and process information as described in Google's documentation.
12. Security
PlouifaSoft takes reasonable measures to protect the application and the information under its control.
Communication with third-party services is performed using the security mechanisms provided by those services, including encrypted network communication where supported.
Because MishuNeko uses third-party services, PlouifaSoft cannot control or guarantee the security practices of those independent providers.
13. Children's Privacy
MishuNeko is not specifically directed at children under the age required by applicable law.
The application does not require users to provide their name, email address, telephone number, postal address or other direct personal information to create an account.
Third-party services used by the application, including advertising and AI providers, may have their own age restrictions and requirements. Users should review the policies of those services where applicable.
14. Data Retention and Deletion
PlouifaSoft does not maintain a server-side database containing MishuNeko user accounts, API keys or conversation histories.
Information stored locally by the application can generally be removed by uninstalling the application or clearing its local application data through the Android operating system.
Data processed by third-party services, including AI providers and advertising providers, is subject to their respective retention and deletion policies.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the application, third-party services, applicable legislation or our privacy practices.
